Wongs the Jewellers Winter Ball

Wongs the Jewellers based in Whitechapel in the heart of Liverpool City Ctr, held a Charity Winter Ball yesterday in the iconic Royal Liver Building in aid of Children’s Hosptial Alder Hey.

Celebrities and business’s gathered in the Venue function suite, where 2 auctions were held and buckets passed around.  Items for auction included signed LFC and EFC shirts, signed Andy Murray racquet, signed albums from the likes of David Bowie, Queen and Led Zeppelin and the more obscure items like a circuit board from Concorde, a small piece of wood from HMS Victory and Roger Bannisters shoe.

Guests included TV Presenter Melanie Sykes, singer and actor Ray Quinn and gymnast Beth Tweddle.  Guests ate their meals and participated in the auction, then were entertained with performance from Ray Quinn, Katy and Paul (BGT) and then the DJ played.
